Shirley qualified from the London Hospital Medical College in 1992. Shirley has passed examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons London and qualified as an NHS consultant in 2003. Since qualifying Shirley works as a NHS consultant with Barts NHS Trust training the next generation of orthodontists.

She delivers a high level of patient care with high quality outcomes in a calm and relaxing environment, and is actively learning the latest techniques and ensuring that she is at the forefront of any new technologies for the benefit of her patients.
